WATCH IT

Its there. Every where you look. Most things you carry. Its there. Right bottom corner of your computer screen. Top of your cell phone screen. Center in your cable/satellite box. In front of you as you drive. Always accurate to the nth degree (so to speak), with possible exception the one in your vehicle.

And yet, they spend millions of dollars advertising. And we spend billions buying their product, which we than proceed to tie around our wrist - forever changing and dictating our acts and actions. Now folks, do not let your arm move to fast in that manner, you may damage your watch. Do not immerse your arm in water, you may damage your watch. Watch IT.

I got one on my 16th birthday. I wore it for a week. And never again. Free as a bird, as the song goes.

I say, wear one and you become part of a giant machinery.

What is that you say ? You have never read something like this before. Sure you have not. There is a matter of dollars and cents. In my opinion, no magazine or news paper can survive without the millions spent in advertising by the watch companies. And so there is this unwritten law, a code of conduct, if you will - You keep spending the dollars and we will not tell the people how redundant your product is. You can be sure, Mr.Watch Company, there will not be a word published by us. We will never ever allow it to be said, even a hint, that your product is no longer necessary. Or that its usefullness is over. On the contrary, we will periodically review your product thereby assigning value to it.
